Do anything for him
The first story here is actually not as bad as some others of the same time frame. It deals with a young woman who is in love with a man who is clearly bad for her. She keeps putting up with him because the man reminds her of her uncle who she has always tried to impress and receive some missing fatherly love from despite his lack of interest in her (though he is cheating on his wife.) This sets the pattern that she accepts the bad behavior because it was reinforced to her earlier in life. The next story is quite a bizarre one, and highly unlikely but also has an interesting concept. It deals with an already engaged American soldier that falls in love with a local woman while he is deployed to Vietnam. I guess the ending is not like most in this series with a similar concept as it is set in wartime. The last story I the first of a three issue story arc for Cathy Brown dealing with the girl who thinks she loves the boy who is four years older than her. I think this issue was a fair bit better than the majority of the romance comics at the time. It took a more grownup approach to the problems involved in dating and finding true love.
