The first story here is actually not as bad as some others of the same time frame.  It deals with a young woman who is in love with a man who is clearly bad for her.  She keeps putting up with him because the man reminds her of her uncle who she has always tried to impress and receive some missing fatherly love from despite his lack of interest in her (though he is cheating on his wife.)  This sets the pattern that she accepts the bad behavior because it was reinforced to her earlier in life.  T...
