    He's a Hero

Well guys looks like Pak is two for two with his Superman work. He's also proved to me that he can write a more mature Superman twice this month. BM/SM has been a title that I myself haven't fully been able to recommend to people. Not because it's badly written (quite the contrary), it's just very out there and IMO dropped in quality after the first arc. But just like with Action Comics, I urge you to go out and buy this book now.

    Good

EVERYTHING! *clears throat* just can't contain myself over how good this issue was. It has everything. Humor, build up and mystery. I love how different AC and BM/SM are currently. Sometimes writers have a particular style that is noticeable in all their books, but this feels like a different beast all together.

The books starts with a two guys who dress up as Batman and Superman to entertain kids in hospitals. I don't wanna give away anything cus this moment made this book a buy alone, but for whatever reason the man who dressed up like Superman did what he did, Lois's words apply "He's a hero."

The way Superman takes the news is very well done. He's not happy and Batman can tell, but is this a good thing or a bad thing is a question on the Dark Knight's mind. The dynamic between the two has come a long way since their rookie years. The way Superman acts around the kids in the hospital is also heartbreaking but Clark doesn't wanna worry them. The scene between Batman and one of the kids was fun.

All of these events lead up to the question as to who did this? Batman suggests that whoever did this mimics the actions of Joker and worries what a Joker type villain would do who's target is Superman. The villain of this arc makes an "appearance" to make a threat to the Man of Steel. Who is he? THis issue built up the intrigue perfectly.

    Bad

Aside from a throwaway line that was the cliche "At least it can't get any worse?" and then something bad happens, I can't think of on bad thing in this issue, except that not enough people are going to buy it.

    Thoughts

I can't stress enough how good this was. What makes it even better is how new reader friendly this book is. Go out and get it, you won't be disappointed.

    Rating- 10/10
