Can´t run off your fate, can you?

Now that I´m reading this series, a lot of things that took place in Brightest Day starts to make sense regarding the birds, so I highly recommend this series (this issue in particularly) if you want to discover more about Carter and Kendra and how their curse can be broken - I guess Johns and Robinson are doing a fantastic job directing this series to the right point: there´s mystery, there´s action, there´s emotion, there´s adventure, all in the right dose, Johns especially is delivering fantastic dialogues and in this issue many things of Carter´s past is revealed (at least for a new reader like me), like the bond he had with Nabu (the sorcerer that lives in Dr. Fate´s helmet, who´s his son by the way) and the reason why he and Shiera (Kendra) have died and resurrected so many times, so here lingers the question: can Carter Hall stop this curse? Another thing that is excellent about this series is the fact that the writers always create different stories, running in parallel, in the same issue, avoiding repetition and boredom to take control, like in this issue Kendra revives a dreadfull moment in her childhood, very touching stuff. Rags Morales did an incredible job in this issue, portraiting all of Carter and Shiera´s last lives, also giving Kendra´s nightmare a terrific pace (also the choice of colors were perfect).
