What could be worse than being trapped in a savage warworld in a dimension created by the god of death? Try being chained and tortured as a slave in these "Battlelands!" The only hope for Hawkman's freedom is the aid of the Shadow Thief and Carter's own mastery of will. Yet, what good is freedom if it only leads into a bigger cage? Meanwhile, Hawkgirl learns a lesson from Tigress and her crossbow. Will she get the point?

    Revolution in the Battlelands 0

Hawkman and Shadow Thief are reduced to slaves, just like the Komeriath (Elephants with 4 arms, just like the Hindu Goddess Ganesha), but things are about to be stirred in the Battlelands, since a revolution is brewing and Hawkgirl is figuring a way out to rescue Carter from this crazy dimension - this was a action pack issue, probably the best issue so far of this series, showing a lot of battle in both fronts (Hawkman and Hawkgirl), allowing Rags to pencil excellent moves, amazing action scene...
