Blizzards and Yetis
There´s trouble in Tibet, after the birds received a subtle message in last issue, so just now when Carter realizes he can outrun from the curse that´s been haunting him and Shiera (Kendra) for a thousand years, could this mean they will instead find themselves dead again, in the white snow of the Himalaia? Unfortunately this issue (since it´s placed in Tibet) doesn´t stand much for colors and scenarios, being completely dominated by the white (like the cover suggests), but that doesn´t dimminish or dimmers the fantastic art of Rags Morales who, blocked from doing his gorgeous and detailed scenarios and multiple ambients, focus more on the characters, giving them excellent gears and costumes, plus I love the fact that Carter uses different weapons in almost every issue, that´s good to take away the misconception that he only mastered the mace - there´s a lot of heat (no pun intended) in this issue, because our group of expedition receives an warm (no pun intended) welcome by the Yeti and a dark secret is revealed at the end - honestly it´s good to see that the story is moving foward in a linear way, Carter and Kendra facing their eternal nemesis, but I wish the execution or the background of this issue were different - nonetheless this was a great issue, with some interesting dialogues between Carter and Kendra, Carter and Danny and Kendra with Jayita.
