I think this could be really awesome and a different kind of show. The Legends of Tomorrow preview mentions that this version of Hawkgirl is going to focus on her past lives. I think it would be awesome to see a Hawkgirl show set in the present where the protagonist has flashbacks to her past selves. It would give the show a different feel and as Hawkgirl has some mysticism to her origin it would feel different than Arrow (Realism/Crime) or Flash (Super Science).

I would rather have them develop a show on Vertigo comics. Y the last Man, 100 bullets, DMZ, Book of Magic, Fables, Transmetropolitan, Invisibles , Unwritten etc so many great comics to adapt.

I feel the same way. That is why I have netflix! I maybe behind but this is a gaurantee I'll watch all of it.

@mfundroid: Oh yh! I have no love for that ship or that show but I guess the higher ups at CW thought it would boost ratings so shove that in and steal precious Vixen screen time in a six ep mini series cause that's what we need lots and lots of distractions.

Daredevil isn't on TV, and personally, I don't like Zombies so I don't like the Waking Dead. Even if they don't want to call their Zombies Zombies, they're totally Zombies.

I say wait until she develops more in the show,see if she is seen as a popular character,and then push forward with her spin off,maybe a 13 episode showcasing her origins or possibly after the legends of tomorrow ends.In all honesty I think this is a great move for Dc to push its heroines to get more attention they deserve.

She don't need her own series, 3 shows is enough. More than that would be pushing it one one network. She showed up Flash finale as a cameo, she'll be on LOT, leave it at that DC, please stop overly pushing the minority characters....as a minority even I'm sick of it lol

I wish they would fix the iron atom before they start branching out with more shows. Who knows? If the hawkgirl character kicks ass it might deserve it's own show. My kids loved the supergirl pilot. Another inspirational female character would be good for young girls.

If they have plans for Hawkgirl can Adam Strange be far behind ?

Even tho this rumor proved false it still seems the CW is becoming the DC network and I'm cool with that and hope they'll bring back Saturday morning cartoons and give us some decent super hero animation without worrying that they'll cancel high rated shows for dumb ass reasons.

This would've been interesting. I don't see Legends of Tomorrow lasting more than a season so it would be a nice replacement once it is over.
