I think Hawkeye is one of the most underrated heroes ever. He was one of the first recruits to the Avengers, he has tight skillz, and his "question authority" attitute is refreshing in contrast to all the overgrown boy-scout heroes.

Hawkeye is badass. Up there with Cap in fighting skills, more likely to cheat or be harsh which almost gives him the advantage.
