Yes I know. I am familiar with all of Hawkeye's costumes including his Goliath costume and his Ronin one. Nod or no nod it is lame looking to me and very impractical: if the temperature is cool enough where he is comfortable in the rest of the costume then his left upper arm (renner is a southpaw) and forearm are going to be quite chilly which is why we don't generally wear one sleeved/one short& one long sleeved shirts, sweaters, jackets, and coats.

It would have looked better and made more sense from a comfort standpoint if both of his sleeves were long in the new costume.

@yeahyeahyeah: It's probably more of a guard then for being chilly lol. It's in case the string of the bow slaps back it can injure your arm. Personally I'm fine with it though so different strokes for different folks I guess.

That means his left arm is going to be chilly willy lol.Forearm straps are used to prevent the bow string from hitting the forearm/wrist and he has one of those already. The asymmetrical sleeves are because someone thought they would be cool but imo they are not. Yes, different strokes. To me the costume would be awesome if both sleeves were long.

Damn spiffy.

This is a noticeable jump towards the 616 look, which makes me giddy. Now all he needs is a mask.

@feartheliving: Is simple the actual costume in comics (based on the Ultimate one and later on the movie one.) is ugly and look like more a generic action suit then a super heroes costume.

If you're not talking about the movie costume why are you on an article talking about the movie costume? If you think the Ultimate costumes are ugly then you're in luck this one doesn't look like those.

@feartheliving: I take this article for saying are ugly this costume is and because is in part the movies fault if Hawkeye keep this costume.

His best costume to date. Nothing else he's had looked this good.

Looks nice, as much of a fan I am of the colour purple. I like the indigo colour.

It's a good blend of calm, cool, stealthy, and ominous.
