Will Jeremy be sporting that purple mask with the giant "H" on the forehead? "I think it's going to be a little more reality-based...You can kind of tell with Scarlett [Johansson]'s character [in 'Iron Man 2'], it's going to be more of a uniform . . . and not a big purple, comics sort of thing." Explained Renner. I hope every Hawkeye fan kind of realized this before Renner said it because although that costume may work in the comics, it will look pretty cheesy on the big screen. A lot of people seem to be tossing around the idea that we'll see a costume more like Ultimate Hawkeye, but my "expert" opinion says otherwise. (By expert, I mean loudest) I believe that the most likely case scenario is that Black Widow and Hawkeye will have the same costume, except Hawkeye's will be a little more "manly."
What about a love connection for the hero of a thousand costumes? Jeremy explained that we may see a love connection between Hawkeye and Black Widow on the big screen, although it may not be in the first film. "We will, I think, in this one as well...We're kind of a team, and what that relationship is, is still to be discovered." So, their relationship may start here and continue onto the next film?
