    Review: Hawke & Mockingbird #5 1

Hawkeye and Mockingbird finally corner their enemies and the desert and their disagreements about how severe an amount of force they should use might threaten to break their relationship up.  The Good Before anything else, I have to say that the scallop arrow that Hawkeye uses on Crossfire had to be the coolest, nasty trick I've probably ever seen in his arsenal. Seriously, I was going "Oooooooo" when he tangled the villain up with it... and that's rarely happened between me and a comic. I was ...

Story: The final showdown is here. Hamilton has a plan to exorcise Lincoln's spirit out of his daughter Jaime. Crossfire and Hawkeye fight but Hawkeye has the upper hand and uses a trick arrow that explodes near Crossfire. Bobbi tries to get Jaime where Hamilton wants her. This story line is coming to an end.  It has been an interesting one so far with the past coming back to haunt Mockingbird.   We've got a some great story going, not just action.  There's a lot of interaction between the characters in this one.  Mockingbird really coming face to face with the past and trying to put them to rest... if that's possible. The Good   The issue had a great starting with a face-off between Hawkeye&Mocking and Phantom Rider against Crossfire and Phantom Rider who has taken over Jamie slade. The action was good when hawkeye was fighting Crossfire and using some trick arrows. The Bad The bad part for me was that some of it was a bit predictable in some ways when certain characters had bad things happen to them  The Best-moment The best moment for me was when Hawkeye takes Crossfire's cybernetic eye out. Overall It ...

And so, the first arc of Hawkeye & Mockingbird draws to a close, although in many ways the second arc, what with Avengers: The Reuninion and all. That being said, this series has consistently shown that it has a strong team and a strong direction, with a nice and simple premise with twists and turns on the road ahead. Described by many as the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" of the Marvel Universe, Hawkeye and Mockingbird show that they are far superior and has vastly more potential than those two wanna...
