      Cover The art is great on the cover and I really like how mockingbird looks like in this cover.  I picked up this issue because the cover in the comic book store jumped out at me. Story Hawkeye and Mockingbird are getting shot at and they defeat the shooters. Hawkeye and Mockingbird get what was being stolen and one of the bad guys runs away and Hawkeye and Mockingbird go after him. The bad guy gets shot. Hawkeye finds out that it is Crossfire.   While the EMTs come for the wounded guy the ow...

    One year ago Mockingbird came back to life. Now, for little ol' me, I had never read anything with her or anything. She had died when I was only one and a half years old. The passing mention every now and then gave me an idea that she existed though. When New Avengers Reunion came out last year, I couldn't read it as a result, because as much as I love Clint Barton, I didn't care about Mockingbird (And I didn't like the art, which I now retract). Having now read it though, gotta say, I was excit...

    I was actually really pumped about this first issue, as I'm a huge Hawkeye fan, and New Avengers has really turned me on to Mockingbird since she's been back. But for some reason, the story they're telling here just fell flat to me. Basically giving them an all new, independent support team, an obvious foil for Hawkeye, and Crossfire(really?) as the villain just kinda took me out of it all. Of course, we've got a bit of a callback to the Phantom Rider fracas....for some reason, and it all just f...
