    Putty arrow, bro!

    Synopsis:

Clint goes out to buy tape to label his arrows. On the way, he finds a beautiful car and tells the owner he is gonna get his money back at home to buy it. At his home, Clint and the owner of the car (a woman)... uh... hook up. After the you-know-what, a bunch of maniacs come in, kidnap the girl and run away in ''her'' car. Fortunately, Clint had left a tracer-arrow inside the vehicle. He and Kate get another car and drive after the kidnappers. After a long fight, they manage to get the crashed car back and in the end, Hawkeye and the woman kiss, before she leaves in a plane.

    The Good:

Uh... everything. This was the best issue of Hawkeye so far.

I used to hate the art, but after reading this issue, I realize that without David Aja's penciling, this series wouldn't be as good as it is.

Matt Fraction did an exceptional job. The story is so fun and funny at the same time, that when the issue ended, I was actually sad. The coolest thing about this comic was that while an awesome car chase was going on, we got to see some of the arrows Hawkeye uses. As examples, we have the net-arrow, electric-arrow, rocket-arrow, boomerang-arrow, sonic-arrow, bola-arrow and many more. But the best arrow of all was the putty-arrow (yeah... putty)!!

I guess I've talked about everything I can...

    The Bad:

    Nothing at all.

    Overall:

Putty Arrows!!!! How awesome is that?!?! 5/5 stars.

Congratulations, Fraction and Aja.... you've just made a reader happy.

PS: I am damn glad they are not canceling this for Marvel NOW!

I have been happy with this series of Hawkeye and am happy to see Matt Fraction and David Aja produce yet another great series. I have loved most of Fractions work over the years from Iron Fist to Iron Man to Thor, but so far this has been one of the best starts to a series he has written. I have also loved Aja's art and think he has a brilliant way of drawing characters uniquely whilst keeping his own style. This story sees Clint and Kate in a car with a red headed woman tied and gagged in the b...
