This is not the story that this series needed at the moment or at least not in this issue.  With Condor and Swan seemingly apprehended in the previous issue it is now time for Hawk and Dove to get some answers.  Except the answers come in the convoluted (and not very engaging) narrative provided by Condor.  Just to get there though took half of the issue in a lot of needless grandstanding almost as if they intended just to fill some space in the issue.  Also the apparently key development with Dove being told after the fact was also kind of confusing.  Throw Deadman into the mix in a series which based on its name is not really supposed to be about him and the entire issue here just didn't go anywhere.

Hawk and DoveWhat we can like about it:It’s an interrogation. Now in interrogations you don’t always get the info you want or someone can or mislead. Though in this book we get, what seems to be, the truth. Condor has been caught and before he goes away Hawk and Dove have a moment to ask a few Q’s. For anyone who loves Deadman we see that he will be playing an intricate part to the story line. And we learn some secrets that will leave us with more Q’s. All around Stearling is playing a good card...

The Good: Terrible art style aside, this cover looks pretty nice. Nothing too terrible aside from something mentioned later, but it's not that big. The design is simple, but it works. The artwork looks cool even if its terrible. And it's ewasy to make fun of. The story was dumb, but not exactly a pain to read. The Bad: Ok, on the cover, what the hell is up with Dove's... cape... thing....? We've never seen ANY evidence that its see through, and there's NO WAY IN HELL it follows the contours of h...
