    Hawk's A Fighter, Dove's a Heart-Breaker

Last issue impressed me and a bit of other people. Does this issue keep up the action between to lesser-known character Hawk and Dove?

    THE GOOD:
I like the art in some panels. I think that the cover doesn't do the interior act justice which is weird because it's by the same person. Anyway, we get a little more into the personal lives of the characters and we also get a bit more conflict onto the already raging problem. The beginning is different. It's cool to see how this new character is going to get her powers. I like seeing the contrast between the two characters. I also like who the two character are almost like together and it's making the other people in their lives jealous. I like seeing some more information about the past of the characters.

    THE BAD:
Sometimes I don't think that art is right in some panels. I also was very confused about who the Hawk look alike was at the very beginning. I'd hate to say this but I think that the story arc isn't going to go anywhere great.

    THE VERDICT: 3.5/5 (Good)
I'd hate to say this but I'm going to. I don't plan on seeing this series around too much longer. I think it's definitely going to be in the first wave of canceled series from the New 52. The story is not the good and the art is good but nothing spectacular. I really want to like the characters and I like them a bit and that it why I'm sticking with this series for a while longer, however, I haven't seem anything that I really care about. I don't think there is anything special to this series that isn't in any other series. If you like good comics, this may not be the one for you but I would definitely could give it a shot because you might like it.

After that you can argue 0

This series seems to have gotten itself into its groove almost immediately, just the problem is that the groove is not where it should necessarily be.  The writing here feels predictable and almost formulaic, as though the writer knows what need to be done to make an entertaining issue, and just strings the sequence of these plot devices together.  That having been said this is successfully done, just the problem is that while this might be entertaining it is hard to see this series going to any...

Hawk & Dove: Better, Stronger, Faster 0

Hawk & Dove #2 rocked.Seriously.Let me start by saying that, although I enjoyed the first issue.....#2 burns it. I might go as far as saying that H&D #2 has earned a place in my Top 10 favorite Liefeld comics ever. In my opinion, this is one of those books where everything just came together right. The balance between panels / story-telling stuff and big splashy action is PERFECT. The story is fun. Condor and Swan are bad@ss. The flow and balance of this book is flawless. It's a perfect ...
