DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE !!!!!!!!
Review for Hawk & Dove.
The Story: Hawk & Dove stop a plane robbery of some sort of super zombie.
The Good: Well the action scene on the plane was nice and reminded me of Die Hard for some reason. It's nice to see that Hawk doesn't hide his identity as a superhero to his dad. Liefeld's art isn't as bad as I taught it would be.
The Bad: That still doesn't mean Im a fan of the art, it's Liefeld. The close ups on characters faces are plain ulgy to see and the damn lines on the characters are distracting. The dialogue between Hawk & Dove does not show these are the representations of war & peace, Hawk is a dick and everybody likes Dove because she isn't one and thats not a good way to make us like a character. Also there is a very akward scene with Hawk and his dad talking about how him and Don got there powers, why this doesn't work is because it's a conversation between characters that know the information already, exposition scenes work well when the information is given to a character who doesn't know anything about the characters so it's presented in a way that won't be confusing. Also Ster;ing references Crisis on Infinite Earths, this doesn't go well with something for new readers.
The Verdict: Yeah not a good start, the characters don't a voices that are distinct and the art is well Liefeld. I hope this gets better but I kinda doubt it. Don't buy this.
