I wouldn't wipe my crack with this. 3

I love to hate on an issue. Actually, strike that, I love to hate on a DESERVING issue, and this issue is soooo deserving of every bit if hate that I have. I just want to smile and let my hate pour through my teeth like water through a sewer grate. AND… I want my money back. I only picked this issue up because G-Man made it sound like it might not suck but it did suck in a major way. So the story… It's about two brothers, one a priest and the other a merc, and neither of them have any redee...

    Spawn? Is That You!? 0

Haunt is made by the creators of spawn as we all know. Although this story is decent (at best) it feels like it has been done before, maybe because it has. This feels like spawn with a variant. The story line and character models are carbon copies of what has been done before. The art is amazing, except for the main character; Haunt! Since this is only the first issue i'm going to give it another issue or two, but for now i'd say be wary. I picked this up only because it was at a discounted pric...

    Actually a great read 0

This story, as many has said is a little like spawn, which I mean look at the team making it, they did spawn!  The story while a little but generic, takes characters that seem familiar, and adds such a great new feeling edge.  Now, this is the only problem i had with the comic, the story was a bit generic, and to be honest, thats my only real reason for giving a bit of a low rating.  The art really saved this comic for me, if the art wasn't as good, i'm not sure I would have liked this comic as ...

    A pleasant surprise... 1

(No Spoilers) When I first saw the cover art for this a few months back, I had the same reaction a lot of people online had.   Spawn crossed with Spiderman?   Are McFarlane & Kirkman joking?   And as more cover art emerged it wasn’t getting any better.   Don’t get me wrong, it was awesome art (this is McFarlane we’re talking about after all), but I still didn’t get what they were doing.   Then I read an online preview for it and actually liked what I read.   First off, the main character, ...

Good... ad it gets better 0

Im a little upset with myself for going to Disneyland Last week instead of picking this sucker up before it was gone. Luckily, there was a second printing, and thats what i got.  I admit, there is a point in the middle of the story that seems like it waas too quick a transition. If your like me, you skipped back and read the previous coupleof pages again to see if you just missed something, and then it clicks that the event in question was skipped over for whatever reason. Its still obvious wh...

looks a lot like Spiderman but it is good 0

I saw this in a comic/book store and it looked like Spiderman. I brought it then i read it and i found out the Haunt is more of a ghost like character because Daniel and Kurt's soul share the same body. Haunt also reminds me of Anti-Venom. I read it and it was a interesting story of two brothers who have a strong hatred of each other. One of them is a priest at a church, the other one is a assassin for a corporation. It has a similar kind of story like Spawn and it is pretty gory. The Haunt shoot...

A Good Start To A Good Series 0

Mcfarlane has done it again. He has used the awesomeness of the symbiotes to make a new badass: Haunt. It was an overall good story, and hope to see more like it. It is an original idea and overall pretty cool, although I do find McFarlanes obssesion with secret agents a little weird. I have high hopes for Haunt and hope he will become as popular as Spawn. Don't let me down, McFarlane!...

Fantastic story. My favorite comic currently in print 0

I just recently picked up haunt out of my appreciation for Kirkman's work on Walking Dead. After reading the first issue, i went out and got the next six issues and read them that day. The story does something really original that I've never seen before and creates characters that, while being familiar archetypes, are thrown into different situations and forced into different roles than those archetypes have been in before.    I've never read Spawn, so i can't comment on the comparison's with th...
