    Character Evolution

Psycho-Man's construct is the third super-villain to name themselves Hate-Monger, after a subsequent Adolf Hitler clone and Man-Beast, and is the second Hate-Monger to fight the Fantastic Four. This version of Hate-Monger has no connection to the previous two, except in similar powerset. Psycho-Man's Hate-Monger also appeared in the crossover Secret Wars II and was killed as part of the Scourge crossover. Since the construct's death, Animus became the next person to assume the Hate-Monger identity before the original Hate-Monger returned. This Hate-Monger received an Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe entry in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z #5.
