Didn't they retcon those Goblin/Stacy kids into oblivion?

its really not a bad plot outline when i look at it.
i remember the reaction to when Spidey first got the black costume and
comics were done grittier. those were things fans had requested for a long time,
but then complained about. then the clone stories. people flipped. even when
he got the Iron Spider armor. ect. people wanted new costumes, Peter and his foes 
to get upgrades. Peter to have flings with Black Cat. ect, ect. these are all things fans 
demanded and the formula is nothing new. and fact of things like the Iron Spider, Black
costume and otherwise is now people revere those stories as great and wish to see those
things again.  i think BND suffered from alot of weakly written books, but the overall story structure was done right, and most people ignored it that were reading it, then dropped it and missed what was really happening. the current Guantlet stuff is great, and its rearing the end of Mephisto's spell real soon. it will be fun to see Peter deal with the fallout of regaining his memories. thats just my outlook on the thing.

I want to say I really like Harry Osborn as a character, but wish he would get more. I think he has a lot of potential in comics today and can be a hero to focus on. I might sound crazy, but I really see him being like a Iron Man back in the 70's with technology and daddy issues.
