I went to Dallas Comic Con a couple months ago and cosplayed as Harley (specifically when she went dress shopping in her rollerskates). Before I went I did some voice practice to see if I could pull it off (I had tried it about a year or two ago, but I gave up very quickly). Anyway, I uploaded the result and I thought I should share it here :D Now that I know I can pull off her looks and voice I really wanna try making a short Harley Quinn film, but I have no idea what it'd be about and I don't know many locals who'd help me with it xD
My Harley Quinn Voice Attempts
Wow, that was really good! You definitely have the right voice. Sounds like a good mix between the Arleen Sorkin and Tara Strong voices for Harley. Also, that last line in the video was pretty funny XD.
The only bit of constructive criticism I have is that you might want to practice getting more emotion into the voice. I mean, you were great most of the time but there were some lines ("I'm having a bad day!..."; "I didn't even get to keep my new dress...") where you couldn't really feel the anger behind the lines.
Of course, that's just a minor complaint that could definitely be solved with a bit of practice. Again, amazing work. I know that Harley's is not an easy voice to imitate.
@SupBatz: Thanks! Yeah, the first round was really much more awful concerning the feel of anger xD I wasn't feeling comfortable with her at first because I get a little embarrassed when I do silly stuff like this. The only reason I got it this well was because everyone at my home left at the same time and I didn't feel so awkward and annoying when I was alone. I'm sure if I practice more it won't feel so weird though :D
Wow. I was expecting to hate this because the actress who plays her on TAS was the only person I thought could play her but...That was perfect! If they ever made another Batman TAS they BETTER cast you as Harley, and that's not something I say everyday. Great job! :-)
