Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatric resident at Arkham Asylum, where she met the incarcerated Joker. Falling in love with her patient, she conspired to break him out of prison and eventually became his lover and loyal sidekick, Harley Quinn. She eventually left him to be her own woman, and has been enemy and ally of Batman, and various other heroes.
With the death of Heath Ledger I think Harley Quinn is the best idea for the next movie. A specialist psychologist brought in to analyze the bat for the cops but instead becomes infatuated with the idea of the Joker.
And maybe Huntress (since they can't do Robin or Nightwing or Batgirl) she could be an extension of the vigilantes imitating Batman from Dark Knight but killing off criminals. But she's actually good enough he can't get the upper hand with her.
The infatuated with the idea of the Joker idea is very intersting, Nolan would do that really well and it could bring a darker more powerfull edge to Harley

It would be horrible plot for some girl obsessed with Joker, but has never met him, to go out for revenge for putting Joker into Arkham. be horrible. but i do agree with u about depp playing Riddler.

Well they could retcon in how he died in arkham and she was his therapist. idk i'm not saying thats what the next movie should be but i think itd be interesting.
I'm hoping for Riddler and Catwoman as villains. someone to challenge batman's detective skills and a new love interest. "World's Greatest Detective" could be the title? idk since they did Dark Knight they could use his other monkier
they could have Riddler and Catwoman in the next one, then at the end of it they could somehow show Harley doing something or a clue that she will be in the one after that. Then saving the gotham sirens for the next one :]
Okay first of all looking at those pictures, they're creeping me out a little.Second, do you really think Harley could hold a movie by herself. I mean Joker doesn't really need Harley to be in any medium. But I've always felt that Harley needed Joker to hold a book or movie. Then again she did leave Joker and went to live with Poisin Ivy. And PrinceIMC had a good idea for a film adaptation. It could work with the write plot.
