I recently read a fanfic on this and it really made me want these two together. What are your thoughts? Harley def has issues, but if one person can help its BATMAN. I think she would bring more cheer to Bruce's life, she is so chipper.

Joker would think it's hilarious. Catwoman would get into a catfight with Harley. Harley would try to get off Batman's mask, he'd shut her down, she'd go off on a psychotic streak, join back up with Joker, they'd end up in Arkham, Batman would be the first superhero to mourn his latest girlfriend ending up in an insane asylum.

Joker was willing to kill Harley iirc, so I doubt it will drive Joker nuts. He's already nuts.

On topic though I just don't see it, I can see how some people like the whole opposites attract angle but Harley is just too immature for me take seriuously with the likes of Batman.

Well if Bruce did rehab her she would be a great asset. THey are both very smart ( though Harley does not really show it at times) she is a criminal psycholighist, and is quite good with prep. Once you get past the maniac side of Harley she has a personality sorta like dick grayson, comical and chipper. But I just think they are a cute couple and she would be happy with Batman

Actually I would pay to see that, the shock factor alone would be delicious.

Haha no not at all, but I am saying bruce does date crazy chicks, So why not Harley.

No. Just...no. Let's ignore the fact that Harley is completely insane, has attempted to kill Batman multiple time, and generally hates his guts. Let's ignore the fact that she's a murderer and a supercriminal.

Batman has dated criminals, lot of them in fact (Jez Jet, Talia Al Ghul, Catwoman, Jaina Hudson, ect) Batman has dated plenty of regular people too (Julie Madison, Vicki Vale, Rachel Caspian, ect). All these women do have one common denominator. They are all strong willed and independent. In fact most of these relationships have ended because A) these women were unwilling to change there lives around enough to facilitate a working relationship between them and Bruce/Batman or B) they decide to leave Bruce after constantly receiving that cold sholder we all know he likes to give out.

Now Harley on the other hand is the exact opposite of all these things. She's clingy, weak willed, and helplessly codependent. Even if you take all the criminality out of the equation, there's nothing about Harley's personality Bruce would find attractive.

It's not like Joker beat Harley into subordination or "made her crazy." Obviously she had psychotic tendencies or other psychological/emotional issues to begin with to even be drawn to the Joker and then be willing begin a relationship with him AND THEN aid his escape. Also, there's no reason to think Joker is the only boyfriend with which Harley has been clingy and overwhelmingly codependent with. In fact it's much more likely that this has been a trend with her before Joker and would continue on in Joker's absence.

@Onemoreposter: I don't know Joker has a way of screwing with peoples minds, he used the fact Harley wanted to be a top notch psychrist and opened up to her and exploited her weaknesess. And he did make her crazy, before she met him she would have never thought about doing the things she has done with the joker. And Bruce could use a litle playfulness and positivity in his life...Clingy may work for him. I mean its not like non-clingy has had much sucess lol

I think harley would make a better girlfriend with RedHood because of his conecttion with joker. I would rather see Batman have a relationship (platonic or otherwise) with Raven. They are both dark characters and Batman and Raven has a nice ring to it.

Well both are scientists with a thing for biology (I can only assume Parker has an intrest in botany) Spidey also has HUGE respect for women, with Aunt May and MJ and Gwen and so on an so forth, and I think Ivy would respect that, and really love that in a guy. I could see Ivy and Spider-Man sort've having a Catwoman/Batman relationship: They do fight occasionally, but they do love each other and respect one another. I think it would be a great relationship to see play out: Like a crossover animated TV show version of Batman Returns. :-)

@SpideyIvyDaredevilFan26: Maybe, but spiderman just doesn't seem like the green house type. Though I do agree he would change Ivys view on men, he is a great guy. And Kurama is from anime Yu Yu Hakusho. He uses plant type weapons like rose whip, its a good anime and its in english.
