YES!
Harley Quinn
Character » Harley Quinn appears in 2594 issues.
Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatric resident at Arkham Asylum, where she met the incarcerated Joker. She eventually left him to be her own woman, and has been enemy and ally of Batman, and various other heroes.
Harley and Ivy.. are they ONLY friends?
I think that's the fun part of Ivy and Harley's relation. Leave everyone wondering.
Granted they are over protective of each other, tho i don't know if they even know each other in the new 52.
I really don't know if they are lovers or not, i just enjoy seeing them together :)
To all fans out there. That image when Harley asks Ivy is she loves her. Which comic title/ issue is that? :)

Gotham City Sirens #24
Poison Ivy's tendencies
Harley's feelings towards Poison Ivy
(a little Extra for Hawk ;D)
I came i saw i ... dominated ;P
yo, the pics are gone, think you can post them again?
The idea of them as lovers just come of as creepy and incesty to me. Ivy and Harley are like sisters; imagining them making out is kinda messed up considering their relationship/ It's like Supergirl x Superman to me.
@spideyivydaredevilfan26: Honestly, I've never really gotten a sister vibe from them at all. They just seem like friends.
@shadowpro: It's almost been five years since that post... all i remember is that it was funny in it's own context :p
@punchline: this never happened
Just friends :D
Beata
Bruce Timm and Paul Dini disagree :P
@ganon15: Nah, just the thing in their pants disagree. :p
@dr_harlequin: Lol
Read Harley Quinn Annual and you'll pretty much see it yourself. Though they aren't really a couple, but I would say something like soulmates just not a couple. And with Harley Quinn dizzing Joker pretty much completely in New 52...?

hmm
@modernww2fare: Just an innocent kiss on the lips. Some family members even do that so don't worry about it. ;)
@mieux: It is obvious, isn't it?
Or maybe it ISN'T? The controversy continues!
I would say they are probably lovers since in the valentines day special harley asked ivy if she was jealous that harley had a date with Bruce Wayne. Plus they're behavior around each other in the new 52 is pretty telling.
no , they are clearly more than friends :)
Read the recent Harley Quinn #15.
Why? The ones who are writing that series already said they aren't like that. But I did see the one panel, makes them look like hypocrites.
Here it is.
So she's like Deadpool now? breaking the 4th wall
@modernww2fare: The wall that she is really breaking is the wall of my coronary arteries. Seriously, if I have to read another moment like this in the series, I am going to have a heart attack.
Here's Jimmy's other tweets to clarify the issue of this series.
I saw a tweet before I decided screen capping them where (IIRC) he was asked if they were going to develop on their relationship. His response: "wait and see". I can't find this tweet, so I'm not sure if it was deleted or not, but it wouldn't really matter as that could mean anything.
So do we agree that this series is out of the question in this debate until they decide to be incredibly inconsistent (again)? Or do we disregard anything that's not on the print of the book?
Definitely more than friends. At least, they always will be in my mind. Those two are meant for each other.
Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy Relationship Canonized By Creative Team... Kinda
Harley and Ivy shippers got the ultimate gift last Friday during a Twitter Q&A session with "Harley Quinn" co-writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. While tweeting from the official DC Comics Twitter account, the creators confirmed that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are -- as many fans have long assumed -- girlfriends with a capital 'G.'
Yes, they are Girlfriends without the jealousy of monogamy. @jpalmiotti@AmandaRantsAlot#HarleyQuinnChathttps://t.co/n86jApADCi
— DC Comics (@DCComics) June 12, 2015
And all the Harley and Ivy shippers were like:
While it's possible that Conner meant "girlfriends" in the platonic sense of the word, the "jealousy of monogamy" part of her answer indicates that she's referring to the romantic usage. The answer was also in reply to a fan specifically asking for the writers to confirm Harley and Ivy's relationship. It must be pointed out, however, that just prior to giving the above response, Conner used the "best friends" language that shippers have heard repeatedly since their first team-up back in 1993's "Harley and Ivy" episode of "Batman: The Animated Series."
We love that they are the best friends ever. Ivy is Harleys rock. @AmandaRantsAlot#HarleyQuinnChathttps://t.co/38Oc8SJJsa
— DC Comics (@DCComics) June 12, 2015
But later in the chat, Palmiotti tweeted this response when asked if the Harley/Ivy romance would continue to be "swept under the rug."
When Harley falls in love, she falls in love hard and loyally no matter who they are. @jpalmiotti#HarleyQuinnChathttps://t.co/c2NF6qJ5xf
— DC Comics (@DCComics) June 12, 2015
Kotaku's coverage of this Q&A session states that representatives from DC replied with "no comment" when asked about these revelations.
I would rather see actual tweets from her creators about this, rather than these two. They have tweeted on and off that they are just friends, than girlfriends, than are very ambiguous about it in the book. What am I suppose to do with this? *shrug*
they're in an open relationship. i don't see harley as a lesbian, she's definitely bi or pan, but ivy, i can see as 100% gay. either way, i've been sensing romantic tension since they met in batman the animated series. i think ivy fell first and they've been hooking up whenever the joker kicked harley out and then it just built up from there.
Dark City Duo
Harley Quinn is like Amy Fisher (the iconic young American woman made infamous by the widely-publicized Fisher-Buttafuoco extra-marital scandal in suburbia which resulted in the murder attempt of Buttafuoco's estranged wife), and Poison Ivy is like Aileen Wuornos (the troubled American vagrant-prostitute responsible for a handful of frustration-related murders and monumented in the recent critically-praised American film starring Charlize Theron).
Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are not doves or snow-birds. They are more like ravens. So they work well together, which makes the Gotham City Sirens a great series for comic book fans.
If I can say things like "Aileen Wuornos would persuade Amy Fisher to become involved in a relationship with her," then I can say things like, "Poison Ivy would persuade Harley Quinn to become involved in a relationship with her!"
Frankly making Harley and Ivy into Lesbos. Seems more to giving 15 year old something to weak off to. Then anything else. Its pretty much the reason why 99.5% homosexual are Women in DC Comics. I think theres 2 gay men in DC Universe. Frankly the were better off as Gal Pals. Besides i don't even count comics as Harley Quinn Cannon. Because they been F Upped that character from the beginning.
