Hardcore was a mercenary hired under Cruz Bushmaster, and an opponent of Luke Cage's. During Cage's brief stent in Chicago, he encountered Hardcore. Hardcore apperently died in a vehicle explosion. Hardcore is an excellent hand-to-hand combatent, and a master of traditional japanese weaponry, like manrikisas. The nails on one of his hands were medically augmented to give him the ability to slash through some of the toughest of metals. Edit
