Sure it's Violent, but it's just one of the best series ever.

Featuring Miller's witty script and Geof Darrow's Art, Hard Boiled pushes it's way onto the comic book scene with a vengeance. This piece of artwork it's a comtemporary classic, the artwork is amazing, nonetheless crazy and sometimes confusing (this guy knows how to fill the panels, that's for damn sure) And the script is nothing short of astonishing, Nixon's fighting style reminds me those of Gun Fu hong kong action cinema films, just without the fluency and coreographed greatness but with the same amount of violence, guts, explosions, bad words and heads being blown off as Geof Darrow shows us what's he's capable of. The Blade Runner mood fits it like a glove, it's convoluted yet harmonic nature has to be read to be fully understood. I'm love with this book, and if you read it you'll find out why.
This is by far, Dar Horse's finest.
