I remember recently seeing an animated batman cartoon when some alien robot things take all the justice leagues powers. Batman then reveals to the justice league that he has all their weaknesses analyzed and weapons to stop each of them. For hal jordan he had a gun that shot yellow powder. This brought up a question. Does Hal and the other GL's still have the yellow weakness? I have been away from comics for a while....

Yes and no. The yellow impurity is something that rookie Green Lanterns have to learn to overcome by overcoming fear. So essentially new Green Lanterns need to learn to overcome fear before they can affect things that are yellow but once its done I think its done for good.

I just read something saying the parallax is imprisoned inside Guy, Hal, John, and Kyle's rings after they fought him (or something like that)........does this have anything to do with the yellow weakness? like are Guy, Hal, John, and Kyle's ring definately uneffected by the yellow weakness because parallax is inside their rings or something?
