The next issue will probably see Hal trying to slaughter Sinestro and then Sinestro and the blue lanterns convince him to give up is rage, Hal frees himself from the red ring and realizes why Sinestro should not be killed but is still needed by the universe. Or some sh!t like that.
It doesnt matter though... for years Hal Jordan has been the Main GL... and even Johns basically threw Hal back into the spotlight and pushed Kyle to 2nd string... it just seems so weird to me... its like seeing Brett Farve in a San Francisco 49ers Jersey...

A total pr!ck move on the writers part but they can do whatever they want
Walker or Warth will find a way to free him of the ring. We've seen what the blue lanterns can do. Plus, Ganthet may deem him to be tainted by rage or something now.
Honestly this Lantern War stuff doesn't excite me as much as I thought it was. When I first heard about it was was so pumped, but now that I actually see it, its almost boring to read.

War hasn't happen yet, it's still setting up to this summer. DC likes to set up their stories instead of diving right in and having 7 issues of nothing but fighting.

I'm saying, its boring. I was excited to see the Blue Lanterns and Red, etc. But now that they are appearing, I'm not at all interested in it.
There is too many groups..Red Lanterns,and Blue Lanterns and Sinestro Corps,and Star Sapphire..it's just all too much and what's more they are all basically the same.I used the read the GL Corps comic but only because it was comically entertaining.I don't know if was meant to be a joke but that comic is hilarious.The Lantern needs some villains who aren't massive energy users and don't get their powers from a ring.It's getting lame now.

My mouth was wide open from then on throughout the rest of the comic. :O I would love Superman to become a Blue Lantern. But if only for a while. I want Kyle to be the leader!!

I want them all to die after the light war. Seriously, I wasn't amazed by the blue, or the red lanterns. Throughout the whole comic the only thing going through my mind was SHOWOFF.

I don't believe this is long term at all, if anything, he'll be back to Green next issue, as the Red Lantern story concludes with the next issue. I think people need to chill and enjoy the stories, people see a pic of Jordan as a Red Lantern, and forgive the pun, they start seeing red themselves! If anything, I believe it's all part of the story in building Jordans character up, cause you know it's not gonna last, prob no longer than the next issue, as i've stated. So, relax everyone, take a deep breath, he will be green again, whether he stays green or jumps to another colour, briefly or semi-permanent, well, thant's another story again, and that's why I love GL and Johns, cause he's revitalized a comic/hero/characters so much that were once such lackluster, gotta give him cred where cred is due!
I'm not a fan of the Blue Lanterns, yeah they're really powerful & everything but so far they're my least favorite lantern. I love Hal as a Red Lantern, I know it won't last but I'll enjoy it while it does.
