Is Emerald Knights connected to First Flight?

@cascadeking09
according to Wiki,

While not a direct sequel to First Flight, the film uses the same character designs and includes a cameo by Ch'p, who had a speaking role in the previous film

Planet Oa...

Kilowog: Attention cadets! I want each person of you to recite the Green Lantern's oath. You go, first!

Green Lantern Cadet 1: Yes, sir!

Kilowog: Ok, Poozer! Recite your oath.

Green Lantern Cadet 1:

"In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!"

Kilowog: Good. Very good. I like to hear that. Ok, next!

Green Lantern Cadet 2: Yes, sir!

Kilowog: Did you memorize your oath, Poozer?

Green Lantern Cadet 2: I did. SIR!

Kilowog: All right. Give it a shot.

Green Lantern Cadet 2:

"In brightest day, in blackest night,
This show shall escape my sight
Let those who worship this terrible CG's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern Fan's light!"

Kilowog: What? What kind of an oath is that?

Green Lantern Cadet 2: Sir, if I can say something here.

Kilowog: Hmmm. All right, Poozer. Go on.

Green Lantern Cadet 2: Sir, we look really terrible. Don't you think?

Kilowog: What is that supposed to mean?

Green Lantern Cadet 2: I mean look at us. We look way much better in Emerald Knights.

I do not like the look of the animation. Cheesy CG, and overly stylized too. They could do better.

Animation is TERRIBLE, i shall not be watching this lol

I'll be watching this so at least one good DC television survives. Still waiting for the darker tone of Batman CN series. Brave and the bold is over.

Looks like a dried up turd on a bad stretch of road...

Of course, so does Iron Man: Armored Adventures, but the scripts and voice acting made the show pretty good...

The graphics look like the last season of Reboot, or Transformers Beast Wars.  Which would be fine if this were 1999 to 2001.

it looks like it could be ok, but the animation is going to bother me

Wait, what?
The cartoon should have aired before the DAMN movie!
What the hell were they thinking...

I needed to exaplain to my brother Who is Hal Jordan ?
What is a green lantern? And the rest of the things in the movie...

At least I know that I wouldn't need to explain $#!T in Avengers movie...

I mean, SERIOUSLY!

That's just the visuals
Still have to wait for the actual episodes to judge the writing

(not to mention, Bruce Timm's character drawings looked awesome, too bad they were just references for the CG models)

I'm not a big fan of the animation. But I will still watch this show!
The animated series of DC Comics are always so good.

Why couldn't it have been like the animated film instead of computer animation?  Ugh...
