I really really dig Gary Frank's art.  DC Nation just posted the following image on their Facebook page.  It's Hal and (we can assume) Superman.  Now that he's on New Krypton, he had to choose what working class he would be part of.  He refused to choose so Alura chose one for him.  She placed him in the military with General Zod.

isnt Hal supposed to have a blue anr green ring now. Hes a hybrid or something. this will be interesting.

Some Kryptonians killed human officers while gathering a bunch of Superman's enemies that could pose a threat to them.  They broke 'em out of jail and put them in the Phantom Zone.    Because of this, all Kryptonians (except Superman) are banned from Earth, including Supergirl.

i read all the comics but i dont understand. wasnt the phantom zone destroyed? i thought that was why they had to pull mon-el out. So did all the villains die or did they all get out too.

they had to of all gotten out other wise they are all dead and superman really has no one to fight anymore

I like it. Wonder if Superman will keep up the act of being done with Earth or if he'll let Hal know he's still a good guy. And also nice to see Earth GL's involved. I feel like I never see them going to other planets in their sector, now they at least have an excuse for one.

i dont think he will tell Hal but i think Hal will figure out something is up not long after the fight has begun is gets done

Hal Jordan will win against Superman, General Zod and New Krypton and if anything goes wrong Sodam Yat is there Ion vs Superman, General Zod and New Krypton the planet will be gone in a blink of an eye. Superman should just side with the Green Lantern Corps and not version 2.0 of his former home world that is now crupted by Zod.

We know Hal has strong will but does Superman have super will?  He has super-everything else.

LOL nice pics. I've seen Superman's will overpower Kyle Rayner before. (but then again Kyle also got his fingers broke by a street level character so.....). Either way it looks like a cool issue. The art is sick.

I rather hope Hal will stomp Superman, so all the people saying he can't do it on the battle threads would shut up. LOL

They usually have them go both ways so the 'fans' don't get upset.  Like the Superman/Flash races.  They usually alternate who wins.
