Gyoubu was ranked by Danjo as one of the 10 strongest ninja within the Kouga Ninja Village. Gyoubu focus' on infiltration thanks to his ability to merge with any solid surface. This allows him to travel through solid objects adding to his stealth abilities and lets him sneak up on opponents. The ability has one downside in that Gyoubu can only merge himself with solid surfaces and must strip naked and remove his weapons before merging. Gyoubu is a bulky man and his strength is great even among the ninja. Gyoubu is strong enough to break a man in half with his bare hands.
