Amuro returns to his mother's home in Mexico, but finds it filled instead with drunken Federation soldiers. When he discovers her working at a hospital, she tries to hide him from Zeon soldiers. But Amuro is forced to kill in front of her, despite her pacifism. This emotional installment shows there are no clear and easy lines between good and evil, or between Federation and Zeon.
