A new Guardians of the Galaxy series with a different cast.

I think this has the potential to be great, also Paul Pelletier is an awesome artist.

I was wondering if anyone else read that. I want to know who the team will be.

I'm really liking everything to do with Annihilation so this sounds good. I want to read more about Starlord's team so hopefully some of them make it onto the Guardians of the Galaxy.

I think they should put Captain Marvel on the team if they keep him alive after his mini-series. It looks like Starlord, Quasar, and Adam are pretty much guaranteed. They also said "and an even older friend" or something like that, my guess would be either Silver Surfer or Captain Marvel.

Silver Surfer is dead though isn't he? (Might be confused on continuity.) Don't know how I feel about Captain Marvel, haven't even been reading his new books.

The Surfer is not dead. I presume you're talking about Silver Surfer: Requiem. That was outside of cannon. It was sort of like Spider-Man: Reign.

I was just looking at the pic (it's the background on my computer now) and is that Wraith on the left, wearing Adam Warlock's outfit? It looks like Warlock's body with Wraith's head. Or am I just crazy?

OMG its true! is wraith supposed to be kinda like Magus? cuz if, then it could be that warlock and wraith fused together and turned into a GOD

okay wait a sec they are ALL wearing red even if they normally dont... maybe Adam wasnt supposed to save the kree directly but... give his power to the guardians of the universe!? noooooooooooo! i want my adam to survive!^^

i cant wait for this, any cosmic comic written by andy laning and dan abnett and i am sold. I hope gamora, quasar, nova and the silver surfer are on the team

who is the cover artist? His Starhawk is ridiculous. That means good for those not fluent.

GROOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I just fell in love with Groot during Conquest I am so happy they brought her back. Groot is an amazing character. That just sold me on this seris.

I love it when old-school characters like Groot are given a good revamp. This looks like an amazing series.

This would be a better series for me personally if they had the correct Quasar in it.

I dont read any of this but I love the artwork. I thought Nova was in Guardians Of The Galaxy.

   This is easily one of the best books on the market right now! I am LOVING this series! Issue 5 came out yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with the story so far. If you're not reading this book, start NOW!

   Now, is it just me...or are those Skrulls that Cosmo's defending seem like they're not a threat? I feel those clearly non-warrior Skrulls are just being protected by Cosmo because the mood on Knowhere is so...anti-Skrull at this time. I don't think that they're part of any invasion force.

   I think that Cynosure and the Luminals are the true threat...and possibly that Cynosure or Delegate Gorani are Skrulls in disguise. But, when I re-read the issue, I'm certain that those Skrulls are real Skrulls. After all, Cosmo says "He loves you." when speaking to the Skrulls. He wouldn't have said so if they - or perhaps he - wasn't a real Skrull. I just don't feel that those Skrulls (the ones Cosmo's protecting) are supposed to be the threat.

   Still, I might be wrong. All I know is that this book, "Incredible Hercules" and "Wolverine First Class" are making comics fun for me again. I thought I'd never read comic books again, but here I am...and enjoying every minute of it ;>)

Alright now thats interesting, and btw, adam read the celestials mind, so... didnt he have to uncover the truth? shouldn't he have seen that cosmo is a skrull?

   The mind of the Celestial could sense that the Skrulls were there, and he found Cosmo in the same place. I think Cosmo might not be a Skrull.

   Drax is living up to his old name "The Destroyer"! I'm so glad that they junked the "Drax the Dimwit" concept. He's being handled the way he always should have. That's one reason why I love this book!

   Mantis? I didn't even suspect her! Hmmm....
