Meet Eikichi Onizuka a 22-year-old ex-biker. He's crude, foul-mouthed, and has a split-second temper. His unlikely goal: to be the Greatest High School Teacher in the World! GTO, also know as Great Teacher Onizuka, is a 25 volume series, which was published in the United States under the Tokyopop banner from April 23, 2002 to it conclusion in August 9, 2005.
The story follows Eikichi Onizuka in his multiple adventures as the teacher of class 3-4.
GTO - The Early Years is a prequel to this story but is not necessary to read one to understand the other.
