    Grown Sweet Home

    Story arc »

    Short summary describing this arc.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Crazy Dave goes on an inventing spree, distracting the plants, who move out to the old family mansion. Patrice and Nate try to give them advice on housekeeping and living in human culture. Zomboss finds out where they are, and decides to try to do a better job of living among humans. The zombies infiltrate the house and insert video cameras, so he can learn from the kids' lessons.

The plants continue to have difficulty acting like people. Patrice and Nate start an incentive program that starts to help. Zomboss tries to replicate this by giving the zombies pictures of himself. Both groups continue to train. They go into town in disguise to see if humans will notice them. The two groups meet and try to not give themselves away by fighting. They have a contest to act human, which ends in a tie.

They return home, but later end up in a battle. Nate and Patrice don't understand why their plans aren't working--it's because Zomboss has been watching them make their plans over the video cameras. They take a break and find the cameras, then block them with anti-gravity goldfish that Dave invented earlier. Nate and Patrice disguise themselves as zombies and infiltrate Zomboss's headquarters, putting in their own cameras.

Zomboss starts a zombie parade. Dave, who loves parade, joins in. They have another contest. Things look bad for the plants, but when Patrice points out that Nigel, Frogpants, and Tugboat have been stealing Zomboss's Pop Smarts (which they saw on their video cameras), the zombies turn on themselves, and lose the day.
