    Nothing Grimm About This Eye-Candy...

Okay, I know a couple of days ago, I reviewed a Lady Death swimwear issue and cast a bit of a critical eye on that and the whole swimwear/lingerie glamour mags. Then I got my sweaty paws on Grimm Fairy Tales: Swimsuit Edition #1 and...this ones actually quite good. Unlike some of the mags of this theme that I`ve flicked through, the portraits in this issue are actually pretty decent pin-ups.
Beautiful artwork and vibrantly coloured - sure, I guess it`s all eye-candy. It`s all cheesecake art. One particular ex-girlfriend of mine would probably have labeled it sexist, or chauvinist, or some other `ist - but then, this is my review and not hers ( thank God!) - and I like the issue, or at the very least it`s a damn sight better than some I`ve seen...
Check out that Wicked Stepmother - now that`s one Yummy Mummy. Calie Liddle is also looking hot to trot...in fact, the more I look through this, the more it`s growing on me...Crikey! Even the mermaid looks damn fine!
There`s also a short story for the last few pages, which is an added bonus to your usual glamour-comic-thing. The story `Pool Party at The Rock Hard Hotel` with Sela and Belinda, I found cynical and amusing.
All in all, a vast improvement - I`m sold.

More and more the term 'swimsuit' loosens. And so, in that tradition, we come to Zenescope's Grimm Fairy Tales Swimsuit Edition: It's a near 50 page assortment of art, plus a short story at the end. The meat of the thing...

I have to say that when deciding to maybe check out this series that I was a little hesitant at first.  As I have said before I was a little skeptical of the issues based on the depiction of the women on the cover, but evidently from the first issue of the monthly series I discovered that the cover was like a tease that never got satisfied, instead telling a decent story in its place.  To be honest though I am still a little skeptical of the series so instead I figured to go to the place which m...
