razzatazz's Grimm Fairy Tales presents Bad Girls #4 review

It is a strange editorial decision on the behalf of Zenescope to run this series at the same time as the Summoning story arc which has many of the same players and a fairly similar plot.  It would seem almost as though the two series are working contrary to one another, and I could see how this might be a limiting factor for those that are only reading the Grimm Fairy Tales universe selectively (as opposed to me that reads mostly everything.)  This series is at times too simplistic and kind of vacuous, but as it is a rare crossover at Grimm Fairy Tales, it also gives a lot of what the readers want to see in a sense – it is fun to see the assembled heroes battling the assembled villains.  As the titular characters should be expected to do in a series named after them, the villainesses here do more than their share of bearing the load on this series (which works as in the similar story arc in Myth and Legends it is the opposite.)  This is not particularly memorable but is still a decent amount of fun so when in the end it does reach its goals successively it is worthy enough of reading, though probably only to Grimm Fairy Tales fans.
