    In terms of what this series hopes to accomplish as a prequel it is essentially two things as far as I can tell.  The first is to provide some background for the character of Alice.  The second is to establish some new villains for the ongoing Wonderland series starting soon after this.  Thus far the new villains have been notably absent but with this issue they make themselves apparent.  With the Queen of hearts seemingly dead at the hands of the Dream Eater in the Dream Eater Saga and the Jabb...
