Avoid the humans
I would say on the whole that this issue is not as good as the other ones, but indeed although it feels like that most of the way through, it ends in such a way as to give a lot more depth to this issue. The story wraps up the story of Edward as Jenna confronts him much as she confronted his brother – refusing to be the victim and persevering despite the events which just unfolded in front of her. Unfortunately for the entire story arc this serves as a bit of an anti-climax as the Beast is dealt with maybe a bit too easily. What follows next doesn’t help much either as the story which had thus far been free of outsiders suddenly has Baba Yaga show up and try to recruit the Beast. Again this doesn’t help as much for the overall effect, but really what follows does. It doesn’t wrap up the story in any way and really leaves more questions than answers, but in terms of accomplishing the overall tone of the series it is successful.
