In terms of being Christmas themed, this issue doesn’t really do such a good job.  There is little to tie this into anything to do with Christmas at all really except for the holiday party that starts off the issue.  What transpires is more like the common Myst oriented stories from this series, in that it is themed around a battle against impossible odds by the forces of good versus the force of evil, and that there is an eventual resolution which is a bit too convenient.  Really the first two ...
