Hit number one
To say that this issue is better than the last April Fool’s edition is not really saying much. The last version contained so many misfires and unfunny situations that it can’t really be considered to be funny at all. This version highlighted a few key trends in this series, and mainly that the less the creative team tries for the raunchy humour, the more successful they are. Unfortunately despite the generally excellent concepts behind the main series, here the concepts come back time and again to that underlying problem. Unlike the first issue there were a few moments here that were genuinely funny, but they didn’t last long until the attempt at more base level humour creeped in. I am sure some might find this extremely funny and entertaining, just I am not one of them.
