razzatazz's Grimm Fairy Tales #43 - The Last Unicorn review

    Spoke the truth

The series hits a bit of a bump here for reasons maybe beyond its control.  First of all it ties in a lot of other issues into the story line here, the first part of which feels completely out of place for the rest of the story.  The second half of the story is not necessarily so bad, just it is an almost completely average telling of a battle between the series' heroes and the series' villains.  At stake as well is a unicorn, which I can understand the significance of throwing into the series from a fairy tale vantage point, but still feels not as original here.  The main problem though is some dialogue which is poorly conceived, sort of what you might expect to hear in a children's cartoon.  The end result, while not really bad, was also not really inspiring in any way.
