This issue serves in most parts only as an introduction to the Mercy Dante miniseries designed around the character.  As such in a certain sense it feels like only a launchpad for that series, but in other developments it still keeps its relevance to the series as a whole.  Certainly one of the saddest moments thus far in the series was the execution of Trisha Franks, and this continues to haunt Mercy.  In actuality this is one of the more violent issues thus far in this series, but as it ties back into Sela undoing Belinda's work, it gains a greater degree of relevance.  Not really very noteworthy, but still an entertaining issue.
