razzatazz's Grimm Fairy Tales #40 - The Goose and the Golden Egg review

Everyone has to come up for air

Something which is so interesting about this series is that it tries to stay relevant to the modern day with mostly realistic examples while also providing a form of fantasy by way of fairy tales.  The topic it decides to tackle here is not one which is very relevant to society though - that of Hollywood socialites who are famous for being famous.  Of course I suppose if I could make everything perfect in the world, it would mean also fixing Lohan, Hilton and the rest, but it would be pretty far down on the list.  So with this background for this issue, it is hard to make much out of it.  This issue does its best, though as the subject material is not that powerful, it doesn't really hit home as well.  The underlying message of being happy with what you have is a good one, but almost seems lost overall at times.
