You ended up in chains
Ever since Venus was introduced in the pages of Grimm Fairy Tales, this seems to be the way that the series is headed with more of a focus on ancient gods. I was initially pretty skeptical of the concept, I have found that this often doesn't work that well in the modern setting as the ancient gods served a role. that is not really the case here though as the creators seem aware of this limitation and are finding a way to work around it. That having been said, there is not a whole lot to this issue. It mostly serves as an introduction to the characters that are to form some of the backbone of the new angle the Grimm Fairy Tales franchise will be taking. There is one interesting aspect here as relates to Venus and her desire for adoration through the fashion industry, but mostly this is a fun and short introduction.
