I don't think so at all.....
I hope not. These new X-men thus far are mediocre, specifically wolf cub, 'rock kid',ink's power is an old idea in mystical characters but seems interesting in a mutant, greymalkin is my hope for an innovative character. Dust is potentionally good as is blindfold.
But greymalkin being clayface'ish is redundant with dust and (landslide?)is that his name?

I don't get Young X-Men at all. They use some of the least interesting X-Kids, and create two new awful ones.
So much for No More Mutants.

Also a Grimalkin is a demonic cat. But i'm fairly certain they just picked the name Greymalkin randomly.

Wasn't Greymalkin the name of Cable's ship in the X-Men cartoon? I think it was.

It's the street. There are other connections but the street is the one they say is important.

Buckshot says:

So he can transform into a street? Isn't this scraping the bottom of the barrel? They should use Eye-Scream instead :p

I'm thinking he might have powers like Street (Marvel character, super strong and durable, merges with the ground), Avalanche (Marvel, earth control) either of which would be bad enough, or maybe (my worst fear) Jack Hawksmoor.

If Greymalkin refers to the street there should be some significance of why he names himself after that particular street as opposed to any other street. Any ideas?

i meant he looks like the Clayface from the batman televison series on the WB when clayface was Ethan Bennet which oddly doesn't have any pictures him thats probably why you cant see it but his skin pigment with Clayface (Ethan Bennet) is very similar which i quit enjoyed beacause i like that version of Clayface so based off his appearence on the cover of young x-men he looks sort of like him and im a fan already.

Here's something i found about Greymalkin in an interview.
Marc Guggenheim says:
"He's an old X-character. However, he's not in disguise. Hmm…what could that mean?"
So, Skin? He's the only X-Character with gray skin i can think of.

So... after some extensive reasearch on a few Marvel Wiki's and encylopedi I am at a loss. Skin died (and not one of the "I died and then I got better..." kind of death. He was crusified proceded to bleed out.) and all the other grey skined character I can find don't look enoguh like him to fit the description. If they brought any grey skin X-People back I wish they'd do more with Chamber. According to Pete Wisdom he is Omega-Level again but he is using Arcades tech to fake powers. Here is a link to one site I was using see if you guys can find someone I missed: http://en.marveldatabase.com/Category:Grey_Skin

And is it just me or does Graymalking look alot like Caliban? I know he died but so has Professor X 5 time now I think.
P.S. Graymalkin is a space station from the distant future used by Cable. The station was rebuilt as Avalon by Magneto. It has recently been recovered by Cable and renamed Paradise. In the 616 universe, the ship commits suicide rather than submit to Apocalypse's control again.

I'm with you I think greymalkin's powers will not be earth based.

i agree with grimm if the danger room came to life with a important story based why cant geymalkin be some connection to the school
Posted 3 months, 1 week ago
Like grimm and davey said, I think he's the street and has come to life. You know, he speaks weird, like he doesn't know to speak yet.

in young x-men #4 he exclaims to cyclops that " in the dark none is stronger than i "
so im guessing he's like power reveverse to Sunspot's powers.
Posted 2 months, 3 weeks ago
ok thats a good
sunspot is solar powered and when we see greymalkin he is in the shadows or it is dark so could his powerrs coem from the dark just a theory
