However as the two depart Clark is roped into attending a museum opening for Lois Lane.

The two then continue around the museum finding the ancient lantern on display, much to Hal's amazement that is still exists.

Hal then decides to attempt to command his ring to return them to their bodies as they disappear before Deadman's eyes. While elsewhere the Phantom Stranger prepares to leave the apartment he's stayed in, despite the Lords of Order's protests as he disappears. While elsewhere Green Lantern and Superman awaken to find themselves in hell, confronted by a rhyming demon before Hal attempts to use his ring to get them out.

While back on Earth the Phantom Stranger arrives to the museum, easily passing through the mental barrier set up by Green Lantern into the wing holding the power battery. The two then awaken in the presence of gigantic green flame which speaks to Hal, which tells him he will become a slave of the lamp. However the Phantom Stranger then arrives and give Hal the hint as he recites Alan Scott's oath. The Stranger then takes the lamp with him,as Hal returns their souls to their bodies.
