A Green Lantern is an officer of the intergalactic police force known as the Green Lantern Corps, who have the ability to overcome great fear with the might of willpower. They possess power rings capable of creating constructs characterized by their will and strength to use it. Each Green Lantern is given a Sector of the Universe to protect and it is their priority to suppress any threat against their sector.

Nothing is wrong with Kyle. He is my favorite comic book character. What is wrong was what I bolded if you were referring to Kyle, which is assumable since a picture of him was posted right after.

For me. My first fave is Kyle. He was the one who got me in reading Green Lantern. After that I started to get some respect to Hal. Final I started to lean more about Guy so I gave him a chance. So its Kyle, Hal then Guy.
I grew up on bronze age Hal Jordan when the main artist was Mike Grell who started doing the Green Lantern backup in the Flash comic. I think the corps should have multiple green lanterns for each planet so I am ok with earth having lots of Lanterns. Even 2 Lanterns per sector is not really enough since a sector is really huge and you really need lots of Lanterns per planet. I prefer Guy Gardner as a yellow lantern.
After reading the New 52 Green Lantern series, I think Sinestro is my favorite green lantern. Then Guy after him. Then after that I'm not sure about any particular order.
