@darkgenex: It does. No known character will get a ring. It will be a nobody. Even in DC, no known hero ever get rings despite the continuous selection process. Always unknown people.

Besides, That's not the point, point of this is which marvel human would be the best ringbearer.

..bit late on this one, but either Matt Murdock, Steve Rogers or Peter Parker. All have mega will power and are completely fearless!

You never know. The rings, I'm pretty sure, work on location. So it's generally who is the closest. Though how many Lanterns die on Earth? I think I heard somewhere, that Abin Surs' ring was going to pick Kal-El to wield it, but Abin wanted a human to be the Lantern.

Personally, I think The Thing would be prime GL Corps material. Or potentially Silver Surfer.

I think Professor X with a ring would be cool though.
