anyway, we know the Green Lanterns are from the Guardians

The Sinestro Corps are from the Quardians

The 'Pink' Lantern Corps are from the Zamarrons...

So what about the Red ones?

ok, we haven't seen them as yet in the comics, but in the latest issue of Booster Gold, blame scoodle for dragging me into that one, anyway look at the picture on the bottom of the left board...

now, when it comes to Time Travel in the DCU, Booster Gold's done more than his fair share, and with Rip Hunter stating "Beware the Red Lanterns" i'm kinda taking this one seriously...

anyone spotted any other links to multi colored lanterns out there?

I really hope there's blue. I'm starting to like Lanterns more and more. If they make blue ones...I'm making a werewolf blue lantern character. But, Red might be evil like Yellow.

I'm thinking of the color spectrum....two colors besides blue? The only ones left are orange and purple. Could Orange be happyness and purple be....jealousness? All those who wanted to be someone else? Maybe?

Hmmm... Sounds like that kid from Captain Planet. Ma-ti, the one with the Heart ring. He was always considered a pansy, but was that just a cover for a Pink Lantern trying to infiltrate the Planeteers?!?

New Krypton was what he seemed to be focusing most on. That intrigues me almost as much as the Red Lanterns. Power Girl...The Plot Thickens...

It's obviously Darkseid. Not only does it look like his name, there have been a lot of things pointing to it. Someone killing the New Gods, Darkseid being weak (even falling over), the attention he (and Jimmy Olsen) were getting before Countdown started, some other stuff.

Goddamn, I love getting random shoutouts in these topics.

It's pretty much gauranteed that it's Darkseid R.I.P, since Big D should be dying in Death of the New Gods. Long Live the Real King is most likely referring to the original Aquaman making a return to glory.

The Red Lanterns was something confirmed by Geoff Johns a while back, and the general consensus is that it will represent Hate or Anger. Orange may represent Avarice, and Blue will probably be calm, or sadness.

It all looks pretty sweet. It does tell you not ot worry about Countdown... focus elsewhere. The dates next to New Krypton could also be interesting, the return of some classic teams/heroes possibly or some of th Cowboy era ones.

All in all it looks like some cool stuff is happening in the DCU. My only concern is how accessible it will be for new readers (ie those who aren't doctors of DCU history at Metropolis U).

I just noticed it mentioned SuperMAN and the Legion of Superheroes. That could be cool.

The colour Spectrum, hey thats my name, goes:

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet,

Which would suggets:

pink is a mix betwen White and Red. White light is light made up of seven colours therefore would possess the powers of all of them. I would suggest that Red would be anger and that this would stand for Passion in the pink rings.

As for the rest i sont really nknow but thought thata that might help.

All these things could be part of a massive Time Collapse in that. somone has gone back in time and changed it all and somehow the chap with the beard knows that its wrong??
