Personally I really like him as a character. I mean obviously he's a total asshole, so I don't like him as the protagonist of a book, but because he's such an asshole it's fun to see people like Hal and John interact with him.

So I actually quite like Guy Gardner as a character, I just don't want Guy to ever go back to being THE Green Lantern.

Yeah, true. Like I said, I never liked Guy as the protagonist so I've always steered clear of stories that heavily feature Guy. Maybe I should give him another chance.

I really like Guy Gardner but I prefer him into the Green Lantern Corps. I suppose he became a Red Lantern only for the need of the Red Lanterns series and this serie is better than ever now but I really want Gardner back ! And I really want the statu quo before the New 52 back ! Whit Kyle Rayner in Green Lantern and team-up with others GLs, whit the Guardians and their hard rules, with Guy Gardner as a honor GL guard !

I used to hate the character because he was annoying, but he kinda grew on me. He's fun and interesting to have around although I admittedly don't read much with him in it.

Love him. He's great in JLI and GLC.

I like him as a Red Lantern.
